Windows of Opportunity:

My biggest encaustic, finished work, yet. A lot of dots. I figure somewhere around 1,600 – 2,000 per panel. I love this process, I'd have to love it to stay with it. I am waiting for a "window of opportunity" for my life in Michigan. And, winter is making its way into our beautiful Fall.

Three Again

This piece got into a juried show. While we were hanging it, someone suggested we hang it on it's side. Like a hyphen. I like it. I think it will permanently be that way. Until some one likes it the other way. Then it will be permanently the other way.

About Three

a series of three. getting ready to teach. and to move. and not knowing where we might go. that's life isn't it? never knowing but always inquiring. maybe we will be staying put for awhile. always getting ready for the adventure to unfold. and, i ordered 20# of wax for class. don't know if there will be class until next week. keep making art. i entered the International Encaustic show in Grosse Pointe Michigan yesterday. keepin' on going even when I don't have a clue... where or when or what.
